Fairytale birthday celebration for Tarisha (8)

“Magic and rainbows, unicorns and curls, that’s what little girls are made of”

Last Sunday afternoon, June 17, marked a magical birthday celebration for 8-year-old Tarisha Pillay of Umber Street, Laudium, who enthusiastically celebrated her special day with a unicorn-themed bash. The extravaganza was held at the Erasmia Hall, where many family members and friends joyously gathered to celebrate with Tarisha, a grade 2 learner at Jacaranda Primary. Tarisha’s friends and even the elders present watched in awe as the birthday girl made her grand entrance on a horse embellished as a unicorn, which was a first-ever experience for many of the kids at the event, with one child exclaiming, “I have never seen something like this before.” Sounds of glee and laughter could be heard as the many children present had their faces painted and ate delicious unicorn-themed treats. The customary clown and jumping castles were also thoroughly enjoyed at the enchanting party. Tarisha’s mother, Nelisha Pillay, enthused to the Laudium Sun, "It was Tarisha’s dream to have a unicorn-themed birthday party. I'm so glad that the day was such fun and that my princess, Tarisha, is so happy, especially because all her little friends and cousins enjoyed the party so much. The cherry on top will definitely be when she sees her picture in our favourite newspaper, which is our special surprise for her. Many thanks to the Laudium Sun for indulging us in featuring our little girl’s magical day!"
