This past Wednesday, January 17, carried a wave of happy and anxious learners into the doors of schools countrywide.
Locally, it was a bag of mixed emotions, especially for the children who started school for the very first time. Dressed in crisp new uniforms, the faces of many of the new learners were full of smiles, but there were some highly emotional moments as parents bid farewell, with their little ones struggling to hold back tears, wanting to go back home. The Laudium Sun wishes all learners, both new and those returning, all the very best as you embark on your 2018 academic adventure. May this year be filled with unlimited success for you all.
