Laudium cops warn residents

The Laudium SAPS Social Crime Prevention Unit participated in a talk show on Radio 1584 this past Monday from 11:00 to 12:00.

Crimes such as theft and assault were discussed. The community was warned against giving away money or food at traffic lights or stop streets as this could contribute to an increase in crimes such as theft, robbery and hijacking. Information was given about the role played by the SAPS at local schools, as well as programmes launched, such as anti- bullying, theft, drugs and fighting of learners at pickup points.

Parents, school transport drivers and the community at large were urged to work together with the local police by reporting incidents on (012) 3749846 / 0860010111

“Together we can make the difference!” said Constable Simon Chokoe.
