Love is in the air, along with the scent of flowers, lots of charm and schmaltzy poems. That’s right, Valentine's Day is here! And, next Wednesday, February 14, will see many across the globe honouring and showing appreciation for those they love and adore.
Be it aiming Cupid's arrow at that special someone you've had your eye on, or presenting your loved one with a bunch of roses (red of course), or gifting them with a box of chocolates and letting them know just how much you care, it's a special day to express love for each other and spread joy and magic. So, whether you're sending a special card or even giving a diamond ring to your dearly beloved, choosing this day to propose, do not miss the opportunity to make this day really special.
In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, lifelong sweethearts, Luxmiben (80) and Lalloo Hansjee (87) of Aquamarine Street, Laudium, expressed their sincere devotion and unconditional love for each other. The amorous couple who married in 1952, told the Laudium Sun that they definitely believe marriage is pre-ordained by the Almighty, and that it was their destiny to be together. The secret to their 66 year-long relationship, they said, is that it is founded on love, trust, respect and understanding. The charming and delightful couple joins the Laudium Sun in wishing all our readers a very Happy Valentine’s Day.
